Helpful Technology is a niche digital engagement agency, helping clients – often in central and local government – to use digital tools and techniques to work more effectively and save money.
It’s led by Steph Gray, former Head of Digital Communications at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, supported by Luke Oatham, Client Services Director, whose experience spans Transport for London, the Home Office and Ministry of Justice.
We work with trusted associates from a range of niche PR and social media agencies. Steph and Luke have been working in digital and e-government for over a decade.
Over the last 12 months, our public sector clients have included: Department of Health, Medical Research Council, FCO, Government Digital Service, Communities & Local Government, DCMS, BIS, Home Office, COI, Cabinet Office, JISC and the Local Government Association. We have also done WordPress work for Involve, LGIU, University Alliance, ESP Consulting, Stimulation Ltd, Manufacturing Insight, Kilfinan Group, Movement for Change, British Science Association and a number of others.
As strategists, communicators and coders, Steph and the team are interested in both digital strategy and delivery, and have many years’ direct experience of developing websites using a wide range of tools. Steph blogs about digital issues and tools at: http://www.helpfultechnology.com
